About Acutherapy
Acutherapy/Acupuncture, is one of the oldest medical systems in the world with a fascination HISTORY, originating in the East more than 4,500 years ago. It's true origins remain a mystery to this day.
How does Acutherapy Work?
Acutherapy recognizes that there is a vital 'bioelectric' energy flowing in pathways through our bodies controlling the functioning of every organ and system. When this movement of energy, or "Qi" (pronounced 'chee') becomes disrupted or blocked, the body is out of balance and cannot function properly. Our illnesses and pain are the results of blocked Qi and Acutherapy takes care in removing those obstacles in the pathways.
In a nutshell, the meridian pathways can be compared to a river bed and the Qi can be compared to its water. If a dam gets built, the water will change its pathway. This leads to ecosystems along this river-way to change and/or become dysfunctional (some parts and organisms now become void of water and may die and others become inundated with water and become "swampy" and may die). It is the job of the acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist to find these "dams", break them down and get the water flowing again to their natural pathway, which brings life back to all the ecosystems that were negatively affected.

Wyatt renamed the practice from "Acupuncture" to AcuTherapy because it's about the Acupoint, wherein resides the Qi (see below), not about the tool used. Metal needles are one way to access/treat the system, but not the only way. Before the advent of needles 6000 years ago, stone was used to access the Qi/meridian system. This was a very painful procedure and future patients were happy for the discovery of bronze and steel. No one knows what was used prior to the Stone Age. In modern times, the system can be accessed and manipulated with therapeutic quality neodymium earth magnets and Low Level Laser (Infrared and Far Infrared) as well as LEDs to access the acupoints. There is no longer a need for this medicine to be uncomfortable or painful.

Acutherapy can help address a wide variety of health conditions including, but not limited to, headaches, allergies, asthma, digestive issues, fertility, women's and men's health concerns, stress, anxiety and musculoskeletal pain to name a few...
